At American Rider we have extensive experience in organized motorcycle trips. So we know perfectly what are the key points when making a motorcycle route, whether it is a guided route or if you travel by motorcycle alone.

Tips for traveling by motorcycle
Dates and destination.
It is very important to take into account the date of year when you are going to make your motorcycle trip. It is not the same to make a motorcycle route through Andalusia (Spain) in the middle of August than the north of Spain in the middle of winter. Snow and heat are not exclusive factors for a motorcycle outing, but they can play tricks on us.
In this way, plan your trip well and adapt your vacation to the destination that most interests you.

Choose the ideal motorcycle.
This is a more complicated issue, because each rider knows the type of motorcycle that he likes the most when making a motorcycle route.
However, even if we suppose you are a lover of the Harley Davidsons, why not try other models and brands? Why not a BMW or a terrain model?
Of course, the more mileage, we recommend a bike more comfortable, powerful and safe.
In American Rider we have many other brands to offer: Harley Davidson, BMW, Triumph, Ducati, etc. And also, we can advise you on the best motorcycle to travel depending on the type of tour (guided tour) or if you are going to travel by motorcycle alone (self-drive-tour).
Clothing and equipment.
Good equipment is essential even for a motorcycle ride, the more for motorists.
The helmet is a mandatory element, as well as motorcycle jackets, boots, gloves and raincoats. Safety is our main goal.
As for accessories, if you want to get memories of your motorcycle routes, we recommend that you come with a photo and video camera. Not only to photograph the landscapes and cities you will see, but to can play while driving.
